That thing is huge..... wonder what that was use for???
I wonder if cleaned up some if a museum would buy that, I have driven buy that one up 287 and always wanted to stop in there??

Here's a little simple way to clean up the rust, bucket or tub full of vinegar let it soak overnight or longer if necessary. I've also heard of people using soda.
I have no clue what it's used for was hoping someone would no. My dad had this rust stuff he uses.
(don't tell the "liquid wrench" guys this, but water caused the rust, it breaks the rust down better too ; ) Unless it's something that's already covered in oil by now.

That's not a clamp it is a micrometer, they're used for measuring. I've never seen a 200 pound one though!

the curved grooved jaw on the clamp gives me the impression its use was related in some way to pipes, either in drilling or irrigation on that farm.
