Picked this knife up the other day on a clean-out. The brand on the blade is hard to read but looks like it starts with a "T" and the insignia resembles a Peace sign in a circle.

I wasn't around to say for sure but id say 60s or 70s since you said peace sign lol but I really would say early 1900s because my grandfather had one similar to it

No, not a peace sign. Just kind of looks like one. I'm leaning to early 1900s, too, but don't know.

I don't think so. Handle is completely different and no logo. Mine has a corkscrew and I can't figure out what that pronged thing on the opposite end from the blade is.Isn't that the boy scouts logo?? a variation of it?? Here's what I found, maybe you can compare.

If you google that, the first two pictures under 'Images' show a knife that is very similar to yours.

That's what I thought but I can't get it to work because of the bent tip which is meant to be there. There's a cutout for it on the handle.

Looks to me like it's supposed to be used to puncture an air hole, like to empty the old oil cans our the first beer cans. Some beer company just came out with something similar where you're supposed to use the tip of a key. Maybe only us old timers remember this.

Thank you. That's it. Although the handle of mine is smoother than this picture and mine has a couple of features this doesn't, the "T" of the name on the blade is identical and the logo is at least similar. I'll clean it up a little to make sure but it's just too close not to be.

I would say that it would be from the 50's or 60's because the handle looks like it is made out of bakelite (an early form of plastic). Bakelite didn't really take off until the late 30's.
