    Bags, check them

Found this a month or so back.

Just another bag sitting on top of the trash.

I always stop for luggage, most of the time it's empty, sometimes it's full of trash....sometimes it's not.

    Thought I'd share.

About 5 seconds after I snapped the picture I did. LOL That's my quality inspector.

Ooops, you let the cat out of the bag on this one.

Good catch on the camera stuff. You just never know what you're gonna get.

What kind of money is that old film camera stuff worth? Are there a lot of collectors for that stuff?

It looks like you got a good brand of camera. I heard that the lenses can be still used on modern higher end digital cameras....?

Probably around $100 or so for the old SLR with the lenses, if I break up the lot maybe more. No charger on the JVC so maybe $15-$20 there.

Digital rules now, but the collectors and photo buffs who prefer shooting with the old equipment are still out there.

...Leica (and old Rangefinder is still some crazy money), Canon, Nikon, Minolta, even the old Polaroid/Kodak instant cameras (unopened film can be worth more than the camera).

The hardest part about letting the cat out of the bag is getting it back in. LOL Nice find.
