    Unique C-clamp

Has anybody had one of these? I've never seen one before and getting ready to sell it. No idea of what it's worth. Tried researching but only found one reference to it on a site called "WorthPoint". Apparently called a "Dual Thread Two-Way Clamp". The Worthpoint site says one was sold in 2009 on Ebay. Ebay search came up empty. It's got a 6 1/2" jaw and stamped: Grand, 6A and 6.

People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Looks like a pair painted red sold on ebay for $41.79 plus $31.72 shipping on 15 Jan.
    Grand dual grip.

I'm guessing that it is a clamp that is designed to be set not unlike a vise grip--use one screw to get the rough size and the other screw to get an extra-tight clamping action, as the secondary clamp looks like it has about a 2:1 mechanical advantage.

Are you putting it on eBay?

Somebody told me it's a bridge clamp - designed so there is no slippage between pieces as the clamp is tightened. Yes, going on ebay.

I'd say that shipping is a little high. It fits in a Medium Flat Rate - $13-something.

Could have gone out of country, that is the only reason I could see for it being that much.

I was searching under the wrong terms. Dumb - thinking "C-Clamp" would bring it up. If they don't go for more than the $10 - $15 listed, I'll just hold onto it.

Never seen one like it so something new to look for at the weekly sales.
