Will be using CL more often now

I recently had better luck selling some vintage computer/stereo equipment on craigslist instead of eBay. In the past I have always assumed that I get more exposure on eBay so if I can't sell something there I will have hard time selling it on CL. Not so apparently. Granted I might have eventually gotten more $ on eBay if I waited and waited for the right buyer, but when you also consider (i) time, (ii) cleared basement space, and (iii) not needing to pack and ship heavy fragile things across the country it might end up not so much more. Plus my eBay experience has been mixed lately. Bottom line: I will use craigslist more often now to sell stuff.

I list both places at once
You can cancel bids and end auction up to 12 hours before the end time
So I will not sell the item to a CL person in the last 12 hours

I do let that CL Person know the eBay item number as they have seen the item and are in a better position to bid then someone just looking at photos

So is your CL price = eBay price - shipping and PayPal/eBay fees?
