    older ibm tower any value here folks ????

    hello all...today i got an older ibm tower, i was wondering if there is any value more than scrap here..i will try to put some pics up later...i looked on ebay but had no luck, if anyone has any info at all please let me know..i have a list below of all the internal parts i have and the info off of them
    ..it is a model A-12 ( SL-1) machine type 2144 S/N 2305M7V MFG date 603
    the motherboard is a socket 7 and is marked FRU 11H8440 also by the ram slots it is marked PRO57A REV 4.8 BAV
    The CPU is a ceramic INTEL PENTIUM A80502133 S106J ICOMP INDEX-1110 C6031047-0218 INTEL 92,93

    there are 4 sticks of ram 1 is an 8 mb IBM 2M x 32 THERE ARE 2 goldstar sticks and im not sure what the 4th stick is
    there is one large finger card marked YANG AN YA-1 9605 then above the finger it is marked E114139 94V-01
    The hard drive is a QUANTUM FIREBALL 3.5 SERIES 1280MB AT IBM P/N 41H6956 FRU: 07H0383 DATE FEB/96

    there is an expansion finger card or maybe a rizer board im not sure it is marked IBM CORP 3x3 1995 FRU #06H7225 on the opposite side it is marked KALEX 94V=0 EC D64933 also along the edge its marked 420-06h7220 01

    power supply is marked API-3189I CUSTOM ID ;031 IBM P/N :06H2975 FRU NO. O6H3862 it is 90 watt LR104139 LEVEL ;3 P/N 79F3391 i do not see any brand name
    the floppy drive is an ALPS ELECTRIC CO. IBM P/N-04H7404 FRU P/N-93F2361 it also says 96-02
    the cd drive is an IBM MODEL NO. CRMC-FX400C2 SEPTEMBER 1995

    Is this the motherboard? I hope so cause it's what I got when I googled the #.



    Is this the finger board? Again I hope so, or Google is failing me!

    thanks sirscrapsalot,,,,,, that is the mother board.. but mine does not have the flat board plugged into the top left side like that one does...instead it has like a backplane / expansion finger card plugged into that part of the board...then there is a large finger card coming off of that....i do not have anything like the second photo....i will have a camera tomorrow or the next day and ill get some pics up...thank you very much

    flimits has knowledge about vintage computers
    Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.
