Knight by midmark dental equipment question

today i got a large lot of dental equipment,,,,it is all in good used condition..i have several stools and 1 full size dentists chair with the swivel mounted light and the foot control box.........my question is has anyone ever used one of those online companies that buy used dental equipment,,,,i have found several and i got a couple quotes,,,,,the quotes are acceptable to me, but i cant find any reviews on the companies.......

after reading the fine print for both the companies i talked with, i am not comfortable dealing with them ...if anyone has ever used any of the companies online who buy used medical equipment id really like your input on how they treated you....

i found a site called dot med ...they are like an ebay for medical stuff,,,,,i am thinking of listing the stuff on there....and possibly ebay..it would have to be picked up at my house though and that may cause a problem.....i will sell the stools and chairs on ebay,,,i see no problem with that...its the bigger stuff im concerned with...ive never sold anything local pick up befor.......id say the chair weighs between 400 to 500 lbs

as long as you can load it, do it on ebay with local pickup. If someone wants it, they can send a truck, or come and get it.

when I had the print shop, I listed big equipment that way. Listed a 15ft long collator for local only one day, it sold that night and a couple drove down from Toronto, the next day!

sooooo I say ... go for it!!

thanks for the words of encouragement brojer,,,,,,,,i will have to put in the listing they will need to bring help to load it.......i am still recovering from carpal tunnel surgery....anyhow it weighd close to 500 lbs....it is setting on my porch.....we set a few 8 foot boards on the tailgate and slid it onto my porch.....there is no way i can lift it......the bottom is very slick and it slides unbelieveably easy....

now that i think about it every time i buy big stuff on line it always says that i will need to bring tools and help with me....and that all loading is my responsibility....so maybe that wont be a big deal.....

An alternative for the dental chair might be for a tattoo parlor. I would not pursue until other options have failed. Mike

i didnt think about the tattoo parlor idea...i may check with a few of the parlors before i go the ebay route...it does look like the online route would be more profitable...but more trouble possibly..from what ive researched the chair is worth on the low end 1000 and the high side 2500.....i would be happy with 400 to 500......i have very little invested in the stuff...i actually have more invested in gas and paying my uncle and cousin to help me than the actual cost of the items....im in all of it around 200 dollars total...

i may even try a couple of those face book groups,,,there are lots of tatoo shops that advertise on them....
