I browsed through a few of the threads on this topic but didn't find an answer to my question. I saw suggestions of selling for more than scrap and what the base metals would be but I didn't see mention of whether or not to maintain the patina or polish it up. I've always understood that leaving the natural patina in place is best but when I look up pricing on
ebay the polished stuff goes for more. It doesn't seem to be selling well anyway.
I have a four piece silver plated FB Rogers tea set. Any opinions or experience on whether or not to polish it would be appreciated.
