So, I've picked up a few things at auction over the last couple of weeks. I'm fairly sure I've covered my costs just with the scrap value of this stuff, but at the same time, I hate to see usable stuff get scrapped. Anyone have suggestions on how/where to market or advertise some of the really big commercial and industrial components? I've seen websites of Industrial supply companies offering to buy stuff, but my last experience with them was that mostly what they wanted to do was have me give them pictures, then they'd list it on their website for sale, but I had to store the stuff at my location. That doesn't work for me for the really bulky stuff at this point as my storage space is pretty much my house and carport.
So I'd love any general tips, but I also have a few specific items I'd love opinions on.
I picked up a Sullair 10-40 Industrial Air compressor in a cabinet
A giant pulley (sorry, no idea what it's from and I can't post links yet)
A giant IGE industrial fan.
And then I have a Magnetek E601 50HP three phase motor that weighs 700 lbs.
Obviously, I've got scrap value to fall back on, but if someone has some inspiration of what industries might use these on a used basis so I could hunt for buyers, I'd appreciate it.
