value of computer power supplies

I use one of these to cut the whole batch of cables off with one go - I used to use smaller cutters but these make it very easy. I just started separating power supply wire from everything else, I'm going to check with a couple yards and see what they can do for me.

Try also removing just the otter shell and see if that is something you can sell to your yard, it did not work for me. I used a hand grinder with a thin metal cutting blade to cut the wires off the power supplies. It really is quick. Mike.

11 cents a pound at one yard here, 9.5 cents (shred - no separate category) at the other ..... the 11 cents people say I don't have to cut wire, but even so .... that stinks. I don't have that many, but still .... I may crack a few open and separate further....or just accept 11 cents as is....
