    This is really cool! I live in Illinois and I bet you would have a market for that kind of art up here. I am often at craft shows and don't see anything as wonderful as something like this! Good for you, keep going with it!

    I have seen a rough one before, not nearly as finesse as this one though.

    They did use a old 2 or 3 cylinder air compressor as the motor.
    I'm guessing that'd be a great start for most people.

    looks great laid out in pieces. Is that a 2cyl compressor motor for the engine? did you use a real springer front end or is that fabricated too?

    IronPirate, The motor "crankcase" is a clam shell style of cast iron hibachi. The "clinders" are short lengths of 3"steel tubing and the heads come from Lawnboy lawnmowers. The steering neck, triple trees and down tubes are from a scrapped 450 Honda. The rest of the front end I fabricated.

    I bet the dudes at the hells kitchen flea market from dirty money would sell that for 2 grand easy.

    Dirty money is one of them realty shows where the dudes trash pick stuff and then refurb it and sellit at a flea market in NYC. Its a cool show. I learned about it from another post a while back.
