can't see the photos, that's extremely important there

wouldn't a small pulley make it turn faster ? might be for a high performance something. I think cop cars and such usually have high performance alternators

The boat starters and alternators I have seen have a metal screen covering all vent opening. The screen arrests any sparks and takes them to ground. This is saftey feature on boats so the starter/alt won't cause an explosion. Mike.

Yup, GM, chrome plated Delco Remy internal regulator, could not see if the regulator has been modified for single wire charging.

Hey I see you sold the "Bio rad alpha unit block assembly for dna engine systems" for $100. I remember you posted a while back what it could be, etc. Glad you made some money on it and that someone knew what it was!

No, not really. Crown Vic police interceptors don't anyway.

Really, the Vics only have a few different performance mods...factory true duel exhaust, high temp rad hoses (can't remember what their made out of right offhand), I know they have tranny coolers...can't remember if those are stock for civilian Vics or not...and their chipped, but the chips are usually removed before sold for civillian use.

I'll try to get a look at a cop car today and fill ya in on the rest

Yes I did I think it may have been worth a little more in silver and scrap but I was happy to let it go for 100 to someone who may get some use out of it. I just started selling on ebay a few months ago and its been awesome lately definitly has increased me pile of stuff not to scrap and things I look for at auctions

You hit the nail on the head Mech. That's a still from the movie, when she's chasing down Buddy after being set on fire at the gas station. That's my favorite movie and my favorite car. I just sold my '58 Plymouth recently. I had it for 10 years and didn't do much to it. The new owner's already half way done restoring her! I'll buy another when I have the time and money!
