what are number 7 batteries ? The only way I could figure re-using batteries at home would be to rig them into a solar power set-up

Alkaline batteries can be safely disposed of with normal household waste. Never dispose of batteries in fire because they could explode.

just need a low voltage motor running it or use an inverter for 110, would work off solar power just fine
