    Cardboard

Is there any money in cardboard? We throw away alot of cardboard boxes. I can not find anyone in the Charleston SC area that takes cardboard but I do see some companies have their cardboard baled up. If anyone is recycling cardboard please let me know. BYW When I was younger and worked for a trash company I paid for the down payment on a new house with the money I made taking paper and cardboard into the scrap yards. But that was 40 years ago. LOL

I checked yesterday by me they are paying 65.00 per ton. That comes to about .035 per lbs. But I'm down in florida, not much help for you up in SC.

    Cardboard

Looking for bulk buyer of cardboard by truckload. I'm in Arkansas and the ones here only pay $60 per ton. I'm looking to ship out of area to someone that pays atleast twice that much. Please provide any suggestions for locating buyers. I've tried Google and Georgia P website to no avail. Thanks (didn't know where to start new thread for this topic)

Here I get cash . Paper 1 to 3 cents a lb. Bales 60 to 90 each . Big bales . I have taken a 8 ft bed full loose and got 6 to 8 bucks. They don't buy plastic.

Other local buyers pay by check and maybe once a week. But pay more.

If you charge to haul it away, have a baler, and only have to haul it a mile to sell it, it is probably still not worth it. I get 1.5 cents a pound, it doesn't even cover the cost of getting it there.
