All-
I know a lot of you folks do some Curbco Shopping as well as cleanouts.. Wanted to see if you had any advice as to where to purge music CD's? My wife went the "Rip all her music to iTunes and get rid of the disc" route.
Most of the Mom and Pop shops who used to buy CD's are gone now- swallowed up by larger big box stores. We have a place here in Indiana called Disc Replay.. which after I brought in 2 boxes, wandered the store for 20 minutes.. the guy calls me up and says "we don't buy CD's anymore"
His only alternative was Half Priced Books which would probably give me like $20 bucks for two large boxes of discs.. I always feel insulted whenever I sell anything there!
Trolled CL and a guy says he buys CD's- for .25 each.. noting "Hey not even pawn shops will buy these anymore.. but I run a huge flea market booth so I'll buy em"
.25 for something that was bought for $14 bucks almost makes 1/2 priced books look like a GREAT option.
Wondering if anyone out there has a better and slightly more lucrative option than the ones I have come up with??
