Couldn't say that I know of any, anywhere. I know trash company's will pick up on trash days. Separate truck comes first for all paper, plastics, glass, cardboard etc.
I know there is places that buy pallets depending on the size and condition, but that is about it.

There was a time when you could profit from cardboard. Currently I dont know of a place in this area and if it exists I am sure it be difficult to make this profitable. This has been on my mind as well.
just the amount of cardboard in residential trash collection is huge! Find a way to profit from it and you could be a rich man!
In '95 as my first fulltime paid job I worked in the summer for about 15 weeks plucking cardboard out of the industrial waste that was brought through, There were 4 of us and we had to pick 4 tonnes a day. At the time, the company (UK Waste), took it to a yard and were paid £85 a tonnes for it. I wish I still knew all the people there to get contacts on where to sell everything for the best prices. I don't know whether its gone up or down in price now but 4 tonnes was a lot of cardboard. Would fill more than one of the big lorry type skips 3 metres high and around 3 width to about 5 metres length and that was when it was crushed down.

Thanks mechanic. I have read both of those threads. Still cant seem to find one in denver area. Cant find a plastic buyer either so.
pm me for info on a plastics buyer. You do need a chipper though or an agreement with someone such as myself to process it.
Yup in the springs western scrap buys paper and cardboard
I filled a 16 foot moving van with cardboard this past week thinking I would have a good load and to my disappointemnt it was just over a ton. I made the mistake of not loading any metal in the truck so the trip was a bust. It was the first time I probably lost money on a run because of other things that went down but it sucked never again will I bank on cardboard only. It is free though but not very profitable I will stick to metal as my main product. Good Luck in Colorado.
I used to work for WalMart in central Colorado. There was a cardboard agreement in place somewhere because our bales went on the truck and got shipped out on company trucks. I don't know where they went, but it might be worth asking about. If a company like WM has an agreement, you know it's not a small potatoes operation. I always thought those bales went to Denver or Colo. Springs, but maybe Grand Junction or Utah.
