Plastic, Glass, Cardboard Recycling In Tampa Area.

I have been wanting to recycle plastic, glass, cardboard in the Tampa area but all I have been able to find so far is they only deal with businesses. Does anyone know of dealers in this area, would even consider Polk County .

I was told by a friend that there is a place in Land O'Lakes that takes almost anything. I am not aware of the name but I am pretty sure he said they take cardboard and plastic.

most of your plastic and cardboard dealer only deal with licensed recyclers because there theory is that the unlicensed recyclers probably stole the bale of card board

Keep me posted and if anyone knows of someone more on the east side that does it chime in as well. FL seems to sparse with non-metal items places.

    Hola all,

First time poster, long time reader.

For cardboard in Orlando I go to Robert Wallick Associates 531 Susan B. Britt Court Winter Garden, FL 34787 (407) 656-5060.

They take cardboard ($0.04 / lb), white office paper ($0.04 / lb), mixed paper ($0.01 / lb), #1 plastic ($0.02 / lb), #2 plastic ($0.02 /lb), #3 - #5 plastic (0.01 / lb) and all types of metals. I have been using them for a while to recycle for my office. Super friendly people and I highly recommend them.

    Cheers and happy scrapping,
    Tom

I think ChiefSmackaho and his cardboard supply has passed his last and only post was 2/13 2012! And you want to buy 10,000 tons a month so 20,000,000 pounds? How much are you paying for a ton?
