    Scratchers....

So I have been collecting scratch off lotto tickets for like 8 or 9 years now (yikes I just realized it had been that long!) and my whole idea was to use them as wallpaper in a game room in my house. As of today, I am no where near owning my own house let alone a house that has a separate game room! So i was thinking "hey i'll try the guiness book of records" but i found out that you don't actually make money from making it in there not that making money was the inspiration for starting but hey it would be nice right? So now I am at a point where I have to go through all of the stuff i have hoarded over the years and lighten the load a little and i find my collection nearing the top of the "get rid of" list. I know i can recycle them (there's a symbol on the back) but should i? Welcoming all opinions & comments - I would love to get some more perspectives on this!

I say if they are in the way get rid of em....If you want them in your life and are ok with the space they take up keep em....I have heard of really old lotto tickets being worth something but they are so mass produced these days they might be worth something in a 100 years....Good luck

Put them in a box. Make big sign: Free Lotto tickets. Place in frequented area. Video record discreetly or remotely. Edit footage acquired. Post results here. Thanks.

I bet the silver bit you scratch off has metal in it. Of course, it's a bit late now...

    I had known a guy that won $1,500,000.00 .

He was buying people's lossing scratch offs along with any other lotto ticket so he could claim it on taxes as money spent to win.

All that money did him no justice he was broke and died from an over dosed on pills within 5 years. He was only 32

Well I don't do scratch off's. I was thinking perhaps some are interesting in design, color combination. Arrange them in a interesting mannerand put them in a frame... you now have art. Mike.

I heard that there is one thing that every lottery winner over $1,000,000.00 has in common.

    They gain weight.

Wow...talk about a lotta expendable income and waaaaay too much time on your hands. You could buy a new car with all the $ that was spent on the lotto tickets to make the one in the picture. I wonder if they double check all the tickets to make sure they weren't winners.

There is a place by me that you can put your old tickets in. It is a lottery for losing tickets that if yours is pulled, you can actually win money. Find one of them around you and put some in every time it is drawn. Or just hold onto them.
