    Paper/cardboard

    Was wandering if anybody out there
    Cash in papers and or cardboard. Here where I am it seems to be the new. You get 4 3/4 cents a pound.

    95/ton is a great price if it is LTL. If you are Generating FTL you should be more around 120-130/ton.

    Common Trading Terms
    LTL
    The LTL prices refer to the over the scale value of miscellaneous quantities of materials. Less than Truck Load quantity refers to weights of less than 40,000 lbs unless otherwise stated.
    TL TL prices refer to sorted and prepared materials, packaged and ready for shipment in typical
    Truck Load quantity weights of 40,000 lbs. unless otherwise stipulated.

    If I could get $95 a ton for paper, I'd quit my job and start my own recycling business.

    Maybe its the cost of living difference since your in New York.

    Here in Ky the best price I've found for LTL is $40 ton. After collecting and hauling might barley break even.

    I've put ads out for free cardboard and paper pickup and the amount of replies is overwhelming. The material is out their and extremely easy to get just not worth it yet.
