    New company blog

I have been pondering for a while, on a way to keep all my clients up to date with company news, promotions, give a ways, events, etc.

Even though we have a facebook page, I wanted something more.

So, I created a blog. I wanted to make it professional looking, but not to professionals. I also didnt want a lot of glamour, just something simple and to the point.

With that being said, feel free to take a look, and let me know what you think. I have worked on it for the past 2 days, and it is now 2am and I am exhausted.

I will be adding more content to it tomorrow, along with some additional pages.

Hey George, I don't have anything to bid on yet, but can I go ahead and get my 27% off for it now?

    No need to worry,

One way I have been able to attract customers of all kinds, is by constantly doing different types of promotions. Whether it is a % off, or a $$ amount off.

Thanks to the new blog, and Facebook and Twitter plugins, I can just create a blog post for the promotions, and facebook and twitter will be automatically updated with them.

Like it George - perhaps you might consider one very small edit? Where you say:

We do ask that you do NOT submit a request for a quote anywhere on our blog. If you would like to receive a FREE, NO-OBLIGATION quote, please visit http://www.viprecycling.com and click on the appropriate link.

You might consider changing that to:

We do ask that you do NOT submit a request for a quote anywhere on our blog. If you would like to receive a FREE, NO-OBLIGATION quote, please click here.

You might lose a customer if they have to hunt for you. Make it as easy for them as possible to give you their business. It's just my opinion for what it's worth. Love the blog idea, great work!
I know lying is wrong, but if the elephant man came in now in a blouse with some make up on, and said, "How do I look?" Would you say, bearing in mind he's depressed and has respiratory problems, would you say, "Go and take that blusher off you mis-shapened elephant tranny?" No. You'd say, "You look nice... John""

    wayne,

    thanks for the advice.

the reason it is like that, is because I offer 3 different services. therefore, they click on a link to go to the site and from there they either click scrap metal recycling, junk recycling, or electronic recycling.

What Idaho and Wayne said about the link. Other then that it does look good. Seems easy enough to navigate, and find what your looking forward. Professional, easy to navigate, didn't use a bunch of goofy coolers that make my eyes weep like some websites/blogs. My eyes thank you for this.

So yea..Looking good George, and happy birthday ahead of time, you get two beverages from the traveling cooler.

Sirscrapalot -Is proud you didn't go with the whole hot pink font on a neon yellow background.
