    Moving To Michigan

    I am hoping to be moving to Michigan within the next 3 months to be reunified with my son (long drama story) and was wondering if I can get any shout outs from any members here. I will be relocating to Van Buren county not far from Kalamazoo. Once scrapping gets in the blood it is hard to remove it LOL and wanted to get some ideas on what to look forward to.     Be sure to wave on the way by as you'll be close going north. Scrapping opportunities are ok up this way, and prices seem to be holding for awhile now.

    Hi from MI, but I've never been on that side of the state.

    The immediate differences are probably higher auto insurance, cheaper housing, and road salt eating your truck.

    If the scrappers on the west side are like here in metro Detroit just get up early. I am usually done working my area before I start seeing the other road warriors out on the roads.

    Thing is hurricanes only happen twice a year for me..that cold wet white stuff comes down more often then I get hurricanes!
