oh hell yes...i hate that!!!! the other day, the wife and I were bush walking. We went to the oldest bridge in sydney, it also has a waterfall. And some $#@$ had dumped tv's, monitors, and other items over the bridge into the water. ruined the whole scenery. yes ...of course i took the tv's and crt monitor. but the positive still didn't out weigh the negative.

I agree completly. My wife and I take the kids fishing quit offten. Most of the places we go have trash cans available. But some dont care or they are blind cause the kids wind up picking crap up and putting it in the cans. Used to be me doing it but my kids follow suit lol. Which is good. people tend to follow good examples when there is good in them still. Then there are some just plain lazy people who dont give a shart about anything but their needs.

Its the same here in Iowa. There are trash cans all over parks and camp sites and people still litter. My wife and I went to a park to bring one of our dogs for a swim and there were bottles about 5 ft from a trash can! People are lazy.

I feel your pain here on my sandbar. Just about every beach access has a trashcan or a dumpster or both. Yet folks still leave their trash on my beautiful beach. I know people are on vacation..but seriously? It'll kill you to throw that glass beer bottle away (which you shouldn't have on the beach anyways) or your kids caprisun or the wrappers those snacks of yours came in? Lord help ya if you get caught fishing without a license though.

I bet they'd get right upset if it was someone tossing this stuff in their yard.

It makes you wish that you could dump a truckload of trash in their front yard. I did that to someone and I recognized their car and when they slung a crapload of trash out the window, after a little while for me to stop and pick it up, the next morning it was strung in their front yard. They just didn't get it but made me feel better.

I was bull frogin last night with some friends and at one of our local pond there are cans and bottles all over the shore line, not to mention the trash from fisherman. I am a fisherman myself but I believe if you pack it in you take it out. My friends make fun of me but I always bring a 5 gallon bucket and pick up the cans and bottles since there is a 5 cent refund in my state. It really adds up. I also pick up the trash with a small grocery plastic bag.

He's got some good karma points coming his way if he did pick up all that trash.

It looks to me this is becoming a dumping ground. It looks to be more than just people throwing their personal trash away. I think I saw contractor debris there too. Anyone notice the pile of glass? It looked like CRT screens to me. Hopefully I'm wrong about that but I can't think of what else it could be.

I hate that crap. See it alot over here as well. Myself and a buddy go out to BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land and clean up. People go shooting out there in the desert, and leave their casings and whatever it is they're shooting at. Blown up TV's, tires, old boat hulls, OLD cars, things like that. We spent a day one time cutting up an old car with a couple grinders. It didnt weigh a whole lot, must of had a million bullet holes in it, and was totally rusted over. But it felt good to get a little bit more junk out of our land.

Same here, I live in Central Pennsylvania and theres this place called the Strippin Pits, which is about 200,000 acres of Offroad trails and has a lot of lakes on it. It's old Mining areas. Me and my buddy took my truck up there to go fishing the one day. And we had to 4x4 to get where we were going. Holy crap you should of seen how many cans we came out with. The bed of my short bed chevy was covered completely. I mean I would ride on the bed in with my feet on the stepside step, and I'd yell to my friend to stop if I seen a can, I'd jump down get the can look for any more around and throw it in the back of the truck and continue. It pisses me off that people litter there. I mean the one lake is freaking awesome for Bass. Its beautiful yet a holes litter. I found a couple oil filters in the water, I'm like WTF. Cause that pissed me off when I found that. People need to stay home if they can't clean up after themselves.
