    Learned this the hard way but simple yes/no answers and being polite goes a long way with 99% of law enforcement officers. Been pulled over or questioned when dropping a trailer off at my yard several times, a few times I have to admit I had it coming, but anyway being chill with the cop has saved me many tickets and a lot of a harassment by just being nice to them. Probadly got out of tickets I really deserved. Cops are people too, if you cross them they are going to remember it just like you would. If you go easy on them it'll pay you back greatly. Heck even made a connection with one of them now for scrap and have sold car parts to.
