That's about how I felt when I spent time in Coffeyville, KS when I did some winter work for Amazon.com. Went from the Washington, DC area to a town with a pop of 5k..lol. Two bars both closed at like 9, closest thing to nightlife was the 24 hour super walmart up in Independence
I lived down in southeast Kansas for a couple of years and there was a couple of things I had to get used to. #1 was everyone waves at you if you drive a pickup, and #2 iced cold beer in big tubs right inside the door of the gas stations, you could buy it by the can.
