    The official dinner of scrapping is...

    As I sat down earlier tonight at my grandparents house to a wonderful dinner, it hit me - pot roast is the ultimate scrappers meal.

    It has a little bit of everything. It's like the variety of scrap you'd see on the back of a scrapper's truck/trailer...carrots, potatoes, beef, onions, etc.



    Okay, I LOVE beef and may be biased here. What is your favorite dinner/supper to come home too?

    Home made chicken and noodles with a side of sweet peas. The wife's been using the Amish noodles,,,,ummmmmm

    Anything over the barbeque works for me..only person in my neighborhood to be grillin at 11 pm when its 10 below in the winter...

    Firing it up for some brats in about 15 mins actually..neighbors are guna be dreaming of food..lol

    I agree, brats on the grill is always good. Do you soak yours in beer first? We poke a couple of holes in them and let them soak for about 1/2 hour in some beer and onions . Goooddddd.

    Homemade shredded pork bbq! I myself am biased as well Ryan! I love pork! I would eat my own foot if it was wrapped in bacon! LOL!

    Basically anything that my wife makes homemade is sure to be a hit. Growing up you look at your grandma, your belly full of euphoria and say " No one will ever be able to cook better than that lovely woman!" Well, then I met my wife.......... still love ya grandma! lol


    Mike..... you're lucky to be so close to a lot of Amish....... I dont think they can make bad food! Recently a German Baptist bakery and bulk foods store opened up down here....... I cant wait to get in there b/c I know for a fact they have the best pecan pie I have ever had!

    I have had them before..they r tasty... I prefer my regular jonsonville though..do you drink the beer afterwards or have u been charged with alcohol abuse..lol

    I boil mine in beer then put it on grill.
    Allso boil chicken legs in vinegar and then place on grill at whatever bbq sauce you like has a nice flavor.

    New England Clam " Chowdah" in the winter and for my summer time fare, I like a big thick Rib eye on the grill with corn on the cob.

    Corndog cooked in a toaster oven. An oven mitt would be too big and clumsy, so I reached in with pliers. There are lots of other things I want to cook in a toaster oven, but I can't eat all of that today.
