This will probably end up long so please bear with me.
I do lots of curb pickup and I get the other half of my things from family, family friends, friends of friends, neighbors, etc.
I know everyone has different sources of there their scrap comes from. I've met people while picking up curb items that take my number and call me when they have other items. I usually do all my picking/pickups in shorts and one of my work shirts (sometimes full of dirt, oil, etc) There are some that I will change my clothes before hand. In the winter time I wear sweats and a scooby hat (not joking) because I get cold easy and will get the shakes so bad that I can't drive.
I'm thinking I'd better invest in a few T-shirts that I should start wearing when curb shopping and pickups. Especially because things are picking up for me. Lady scrappers maybe you can give me a few tips too. I always pony tail my hair and rarely ever bother with make-up because I think doing my hair and make-up are a waste of time when I'm trying to make money.
Told you I was long winded...... What type of T-shirts should I get and any suggestions on what I can wear in the winter to make myself more professional looking???? I'm looking for other scrap avenues, I do get some normal large pickups but I want to expand and I know I need to look professional to do so!! Acting professional is no problem for me.
As well any ideas on what I could put on T-shirts or sweat shirts. I have no business name, it's just me and the kids that do pick-ups and my dad does tear-down with me. I'd have to have T-shirts printed but I can embroider sweat shirts myself.
Any help would be appreciated because it's time I make more money!!!!!!!
