What did you do this weekend?

What a weekend! I think the best way to put it is we had a scrap fest. PartTimeScrapper and RecycleThis came over to my place in Nebraska and we worked up a load of EScrap. It was a Hoot!

These guys are top notch and the whole thing was a lot of fun. I look forward to more joint ventures with these guys.

Things I learned and observed from the weekend.

    1. All scrappers share a love of tearing stuff apart.
    2. Both PartTimeScrapper and RecycleThis HATE straight slot screws
    3. Both PartTimeScrapper and RecycleThis LOVE dogs.
    4. Gaylords are meant to be loaded 3 times
    5. It is more fun to look for that last 94 lbs of Low grade Telcom at Night with a flashlight.
    6. RecycleThis Lives for a Continental Breakfast but loves a greasy spoon even more.
7 Both are Great Guys and welcome at my place anytime

Best Quote from the weekend: "This place looks like an ADHD playground"
Second best Quote: "You have a Crane! of course you do why wouldn't you"

Thanks Guys like I said what a Hoot

Sounds awesome guys. Camaraderie is amazing.

watched the HUSKERS kick the crap outa Arkansas state. Emagine what the score would have been if the D and O each played the whole game rather then taking turns.

Well you guys left an impression! Kate asked tonight when those bald guys that look like you are coming back "They were Fun" and Maggie (The Dog) has made 20 trips over to the building looking for you guys.

Thanks for your kind words PTS my family thinks the world of you guys. and RecycleThis I found a "Hunk" of unobtanium today out back in the trailers!

Same as what I'm doing now: processing wire. I might eventually discard some furniture to make space for a workbench with a vise and wire stripper. If I put it outside, I would first have to clear out the scrap pile.

Sounds like a great time. Very cool.

I hate flat slot screws myself. I can not believe that in this day and age, they are still being used. Somewhere there is an engineer still specing them into production lines at a factory far from you. I actually can't belive that Phillips's head is still being used as well as square bits are far superior for removability.
