50lb of ram is $250 scrap value?
well it's probably got more sentimental value seeing though you pulled them out of pc's yourself,
but could of been worse, at least now your inspired to put up some surveillance, if you kept quiet
about it, set up your camera's and then put fresh bait out, you would of caught them next time.

It's probably worth more than $250 if it is 1gig or better and was going to be resold. Sorry for the loss Chris. Hope it wasn't anyone you know.
50# of scrap ram is worth at a minimum $500....

thats a **** shame. a thief has no place in this business.

Chris is a stand up guy, and i doubt the authorities will be much help, but it just goes to show you. you need to protect your neck.
I would get those cameras up and cctv running as soon as you can to prevent any more loss, my dude

I doubt it happened but did you check with your local mail carrier to see if he/she might of grabbed the mail tub full of RAM by mistake?

Stranger things have been known to happened.

I don't know how many employees you have but have you thought that it could be an inside job? Or one of your other sellers/buyers? Daytime theft might suggest that. The general public and your run of the mill thief would not recognize the value of the RAM.

I didn't see the original post; but, one thing I've always hated about typed messages (of any sort) is the way they can SO easily be misinterpreted. (If anyone gets annoyed at me for "being too wordy," please understand that it's my way of trying to avoid such miscommunications.) Quite often, folks try to keep things too brief; and, that opens the door for things being taken out of context; especially in the absence of the voice inflections and visual cues that are an inherent part of face to face communication.
