    almost cried

    i went to town dump there was dumpster full to top with computers ,as i teared up knowing were there going begging lady for few she told me she would but last person got fired i said thank you put my tail between my legs n drove away arrrg ...

    I see it all the time too. Around here you have to go through so much red tape to get anyone to make a decision. They would rather just toss things because it is easier. Sad.

    ohh man that stinks i have a deal with my town dump to buy all there towers and a few other things that they usually pay to ship to a different dump not that i pay a lot or they get a lot being as i live in a small town but sometimes showing a little cash makes the desicion easier

    Last trip to the yard, I backed in to unload and saw at least a dozen keyboards in the shred pile. Same response.."I'd get fired"...

    At my county dump they use low risk prisoners to help unload. I had a box full of insulation stripped off some wire. One of the prisoners flagged the deputy sheriff (guard) and asked if he wanted it. I told him it was just insulation and he proceeds to tell me he was watching for cords/wiring for some personal use. I thought it was kind of funny that he had the prisoners on the lookout for him.
