We all have to face this during our lives but no one knows how much it can affect us until it happens. Please take care of your self and spend time with others, it will help you. I am sorry for your loss and I hope for the best for you and yours. Mike.
welll, that was one serious storm, as they predicted, and it will have a lot of lingering effects. I hope all you in the NE will stay safe and warm.
PS Sub, if the relation to your Sandy is any indication, we can know she was one hek of a woman, and can all be assured the effect of her leaving was a tragic loss, which will certainly linger in your life, and no doubt, in many others lives as well. My sincerest sympathies. Please take care man
Good luck to all those affected by this insane storm and all the aftermath. God bless y all and keep your head up, I'll keep you in my prayers
Sub..sorry for your loss, but she showed some serious strength on the other side.
I live in NW jersey, not much rain but tons of wind. 88mph, which is unheard of here. I have been helping clear out streets, and throwing the hardwoods in my trailer. Many roads are still impassable or one lane and driving over power lines. It's like driving through the jungle. Also very little gas, and if there is, the line is very long.
Looks like tomorrow is another day like the past 2, helping others. There's a nice saying...if you help other people get what they want, there is a tendency to get what you want.
Sub I'm also sorry for your loss and having lost a family member after a long illness know that death can be a blessing at times. I talked to a lady at work today with kid's in New Jersey west of Manhattan. They paid someone $92 to secure a backyard shed and after the storm passed the shed was gone. It's green metal if anyone sees one.
