    Beware of link to "scrapiesjunkies.webnode"

This is a site where people post pictures. I ran across it on Craig's List where someone wanted to get rid of a refrigerator and had a link to a picture of it. If you click on the link and go to that site, it will want you to take a survey when you try to exit. If (like me) you do not want to take the survey, it will try to trick you into going to the survey site. There is no option for "No, Thanks". It's pretty hard getting out without taking the survey, but it CAN be done with persistence and patience. There is no location listed on that site, so you don't know if what you're looking at is even in the same state as you.

People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Thanks for the warning. I hate those kinds of sites.

It's sad that Craigslist isn't moderated somehow. With all the links like that along with the spam ads and flagging, I've pretty much given up on it.

craigslist is user regulated. if you read the way flagging works, it takes 4 flags before a post is removed. in the free section, people who have been spammed often repost warning others about the nature of the scam and how to avoid it.

thanks, mick... its good to know what you're dealing with when seeking solid information.
