I liked it better when powerball was only in 7 states.

As mechanic said a lot of tax money is generated from the sales and winnings of lottery tickets. All the winnings come from the tickets sold none of the money is coming out of local or federal pockets just those who purchase them. So before you go bashing on something or another country read up on the facts first.

umm yeah that's the problem.
so 60% tax, $300million, for what, so they go and buy another airplane loaded up with weaponry?
do you realise how much productive land you could buy for $300 million?
wouldn't that help the average bloke?
nah, off course not, why own your own productive land when you can sell that to the chinese and import the stuff.
nothing wrong with constructive criticism, but nfortunately even at high levels, it ends in war.

breaking news: i didnt win. but a couple people on the missouri side won, one gets to share the jackpot and another won $1 million. I hope they are one of my friends.
