So, out of pure dumb luck, I came across a gentlemen who lives near me, that is in the ewaste and refining business.
We got to talking over the last couple of days, and it is very interesting in what he does.
Great part about it all, is he is willing to work with me, help me learn that part of the business, etc. I told him that as grateful as I would be for all of that, and that I am interested in learning, etc, I would really love to have him simply refine the material for me, and him charge me his fee for doing the refining.
What made my mouth drop to the floor, is he sent me a picture of him holding 3 small gold coins....no bigger than quarter. He told me that was 3 ounces.
I told him that I definitely was not looking to get super rich or anything, but if I could cut out the middlemen on most if not all the material I get, then it would be a win/win for everyone. He gets his cut, I make a good profit, and then I am able to buy even more product, etc.
Right now, I am waiting on him to reply to me to let me know if I need to do anything at all to any of the material before bringing it over to him, and how much quantity he can take care of at one time.
Really looking forward to working with him, because once I figure a few things out, I can deal with everyone local for their material...scrappers, recycling companies, other ewaste recyclers, and so forth.
I hope no one thinks I am bragging or anything, because I am not meaning too. Just really happy, as I have been searching for someone local, that I can visit, build a good solid business relationship, and take my company to another level.
This wont mean though that I wont still sell some of my stuff to other buyers on here.
