Looking for a Stolen Honda Civic Denver Metro Area

Kids 1994 Honda Civic 4 Door Sedan was taken from in front of house about 230 this morning. Doesn't look like much but it's a sleeper with B16 series motor and upgraded suspension. Motor and parts will probably be pulled and shell scrapped or dumped. Any info locals might have please PM me and it will come straight to my phone. Thank You.

Thanks guys...No, it's my sons car. $500 reward, no questions asked for car returned intact OR for info that leads to a conviction. He's working Facebook and Craigslist hard right now hoping something pops up.

Either way, it sucks majorly. Hope you catch the thief, and get the car back.

Many of the scrap yards around here, (and around the country I'm sure) subscribe to the ISRI's scrap theft alert system.

You should go register there and report a theft to the system, ScrapTheftAlert.com

    Worth a shot.

Hey not pointing fingers but if he had any work done recently to the car, engine, exhaust whatever that would be a good place to start looking. Unless it is someone he or you knew well and trust of course.

Not likely to see it this far out. Hope it just went for a joyride, and as such, can be found, maybe even intact. Best of luck.

Few things I hate more than thieves. I reposted to my facebook and twitter. Best of luck in recovering it.

Probably a long shot, but do you live near stores that have surveillance?

Thanks for the tips folks...we have been chasing a few leads but nothing solid, I also posted a bulletin to scrap yards. He spent the day with me and we made a couple of trips to the yard and got some grub after. He does have another car so at least he's not totally hosed.

Hate to hear/see things like this.

Hondas are the #1 stolen car because the door lock and ignition switches are made so cheap. All someone has to do is get a hold of the wrong key and they can take all the Hondas they want.

Sorry to hear about that, some people are just so evil.
I haven't used it but I've heard leadsonline.com is good.
Maybe it went to a chop shop - you might put your reward info on Craigslist if you haven't done it already.
Best of luck - hope you get it back.

Most pre 2001 honda owners know this, but youd have a hard time getting them to confirm it as too many people know already. My girlfriends integra wiil open and start with the key to our house no wonder the integra is the #1 stolen car here in montreal. The frenchmen up here love hondas btw.
Kz: best of luck! Theres no chance your son took down the vin off the engine he put in is there? I always documented my swaps just incase.
