    Bear my guess would be they are concerned about the stuff being stored where there may be extreme temps. I know from my warehouse days, working under a metal roof in the summer it can get pretty hot. High temps can cause batteries to degrade and leak over time so I would assume that can happen to the caps and stuff in tv's and monitors which would release toxins into the ground.
