Pushy Pete the guy at the Auction that pushes everyone out of the way running for the door buster deals.
What about the man or women banging on there window screeming absentities at you to get away from there garbage.
Anyways...Once met a super nice lady. She had a few tomato cages next to her garbage can. I waved and said hello so she asked if I wanted a bike. I said sure, Then asked about a second bike. ok sure, Then asked if i want alum sideing. I will take that also i say. Good! she replies. She had me pull the siding off one side of her garadge sence it was falling off and she said she was getting new sideing. Her 10 year old son came up with his arms folded and said, I would sell those bikes if i was you. Smart kid I replied, and said thats what im ganna do.

OR "I won't sell it to you" in line at the yard guy, "$5 for a PC tower? I'll just scrap it if that's all you'll give me!" AKA, can't-do-math guy.
The "Official" form the State that oversees electronic scrapping in my area that told me that he was talking about the "Certain Reactive Tubes".

The 3 dudes in a truck crews. How the hell can you make any $ like that?
You forgot about:
The Parasites
These guys are the ones who constantly ask you "Is that trash?" when you are minding your own business doing a weekend project around the house or you might be helping a friend or neighbor with one of their projects.
Or you might run into someone like this when you are taking your large metal item to get it fixed, or you just bought it or sold it and they see you putting it in the back of your truck.
NO!!!! This is my barbeque grill! It's NOT trash! NOO! This is the stand for my fish tanks! Stop asking me!
I love the people who have to tell you how they wish they had known you recycled computers because they just got rid of twenty of them!
Worse are the people I call the scrap teases. They tell you they have twenty "really old" computers in a barn or storage unit that they'll sell you - they just have to find the time to go and get them. The next time you see them - it's the same story - yes, they really have them - they just have to go get them. After about six months of hearing this- every time you run into them-you realize that they don't have any computers anywhere they just like messing with you for their own strange entertainment.
Since this has happened to me with at least three different individuals I've started to wonder if I don't have a sign on my back that says " kick me or- if you really want to abuse me - promise me junk electronics you don't really have."

Back in the day, it was an old man bout 80,everyone called him Bottle Morgan. He started riding his bike for exercise, decided to pick up bottles along the way, kept it up for years, Had him in the local paper, cant remember how many thousand bottles he had turned in.
Yeah, the know-it-alls always gets me. One time I was unloading at the scrap yard and the guy next to me had about 4# of low grade circuit boards so I asked him if he was throwing them away. He said why do you want them? I said I'll give you a buck for them (witch would have been to much) he said no way, these are worth at least 10.00. Before I could get out of there he was asking me where do I sell by boards? I said first I want to know where you can get 10.00 for those low grade boards. He gets in his truck and leaves.
