It is now 12:12:12 on 12/12/12
No similar string of numbers will occur in our present system of calender/time notarization until 01:01:01 on 01/01/01 (that's 3001 ; ) A Thousand Years!

Not to be a bummer, but wouldnt it be in the year 2101 (01-01-01) ???
strangely enough you posted that at 12:12am australian time, but it's already the 13th.
anyway we already got through 12:12:12 pm and the world didn't blow up, we're just waiting up to see
if it might be U.S. time when SHTF, well I got my bug out bag ready, torch, compass, knife, fractional silver, rope ect..
Bring it on baby!!
Hahaha, Yep! I messed that one up good, didn't I ; ) It's only a hundred years now, hek, we can all throw a shindig
These have happend for the past 12 years but this will be the last for our lifetime. Now we just have to loo forward to 11/12/13 and 12/13/14
This thread is all messed up, 3001 is not one thousand years it's 989 years and yes it will be 2101 when it happens again and that will be 89 years and if your five years old it could happen again in your life time. This is not the day that the world will come to an end that will happen 12-21-12. Ok I think I'm done.
Happy, Not to sound like a smart ass but how many 5 year old do you think are on here reading all these post? I bet not a single one but I've been wrong before.
Bear, tell me you have another do your accounting my friend.
Sirscrapalot - Not worried over 12-21-12. The traveling cooler is stocked and a back up is as well.

So when exactly is the world supposed to end? Eastern time or Pacific? Or GMT?
People would get mad at me when I'd present that idea about Y2K.. citing that Y2K took place 17 times around the world before it ever got to the east coast.
