    A Thousand Years Away

It is now 12:12:12 on 12/12/12
No similar string of numbers will occur in our present system of calender/time notarization until 01:01:01 on 01/01/01 (that's 3001 ; ) A Thousand Years!

This thread is all messed up, 3001 is not one thousand years it's 989 years and yes it will be 2101 when it happens again and that will be 89 years and if your five years old it could happen again in your life time. This is not the day that the world will come to an end that will happen 12-21-12. Ok I think I'm done.

Sirscrapalot - Not worried over 12-21-12. The traveling cooler is stocked and a back up is as well.

So when exactly is the world supposed to end? Eastern time or Pacific? Or GMT?

People would get mad at me when I'd present that idea about Y2K.. citing that Y2K took place 17 times around the world before it ever got to the east coast.
