Is an interesting video. Only got about half way through but will sit down and watch the rest when time allows.

Just goes to show how long big Gov has been in it for the money and not the people. To know that cancer was cured by many different people free of charge, but since they wouldn't sell the herbal recipe to the big medical industry they attracted and shut them down. Them offering money for the recopies is proof they knew it worked but wanted to be the ones who capitalize from it.

Also interesting that the second herbal cure was moved to Mexico and is still in use today but cannot be sold in the US. Drugs chemo and all the other BS treatments basically allow you to live longer so the medical industry can suck as much money out of you as possible then leave you to die.

Eat your fruits veggies and herbs kids!

Watched the documentary, thanks. I have watched a few other similar documentaries; one about "Gerson", another about vitamin B17, medicinal mushrooms, juice diet, raw food and herbs. I'm also big on growing/eating healthy food. Most treatments rely on "superfoods" like certain mushrooms, certain fruits and vegetables and herbs . We have learned how to eat bad and have lost our instinct on what is good/bad, plus increasing environmental toxins. The best thing to do is eat an Organic vegetarian based diet. So many people try this and think they are eating healthy and they aren't. It takes some time to learn but you will have tons of energy and feel great. This will let your body have the nourishment it needs to heal without any toxicity from pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, etc. Our body relies on millions of different bacteria yet our water supply and food supply now contain antibiotics and toxic substances. Instead of nourishing our body we are poisoning ourselves. An investment in your health is one of the best monetary investments you can make.

This was eye opening. I am always interested in hearing the other sides point of view, even from the other side's biased lens. Pharma is BIG business, with chemo drugs and treatment (remember the R&D costs, manufacturing costs, etc involved in the equipment too) there are billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of jobs at stake if there is a cure.

I do like how they start of mentioning major accomplishments since the turn of the century and then noting little to no advancements in cancer "destruction".

It doesn't surprise me. I've always been a big fan of natural remedies, the problem is there is no money in natural remedies. The best example I can give is Oil of Oregano. Do a simple google search and see what it kills. It kills 99% of all bacteria and viruses and is safe for humans. It can be taken internally and externally. It kills strep, E. coli, influenza, parasites, staff ( staphylococcus), fungus, bacteria,

    prostate cancer
New Study: Oregano Kills Prostate Cancer - newrushmoreradio.com

The list goes on and on. It's nature's cure and can be purchased from GNC for 20.00. There are many others that are suppressed because the drug companies can't make HUGE profits off of something so readily available. They want you to take their "newest drug".

The newest drugs are worse than the sickness, just look at the tv adds for these drugs. It takes half of the add to just list the side effects. They don't want you to get well, they'll lose money.

Which is exactly why they keep raiding the medical MJ field out there in Cali. Not only would it cut into big Pharm's profits but it would be proof the war on drugs is a colossal failure. Seems to work for the Canadian cities that allow it, Amsterdam hasn't fallen into a pit of fiery hell and imploded, despite the fact you can visit a coffee shop an have a magic brownie, or visit the red light district. Nor have the other 31 countries where it's decriminalized. But hey..long as we got a means to keep the private prisons filled.

I'll be keeping a close eye on how things go in CO and WA. It'll be rather interesting how the Feds respond to the people's vote. I think they'll stay true to form and ignore our voices and do what they want.

On a personal note I'm a big fan of medical MJ, it gave me a lot of extra time with my grandfather when he was diagnosed with lung cancer. The chemo was just sucking his life away, he went from 185lb man who could golf all day to 115. No desire to eat nothing, finally he asked my aunt if she knew anyone who could get him some, cause he was at wits end with the pills, chemo, etc. She asked about and found some..Made him some brownies, and other edibles, and he amazingly started wanting to eat (who says munchies are bad..!), and had a desire to keep going. He was actually doing quite well, sadly he was taken from us due to a stroke, and a brain aneurism he suffered when he fell while having the stroke. At the end of the day tho, instead of watching him suffer and wither away into a shell of a man, I got to go golf with him several times again, and when he finally did go, he looked closer to the man he was before he started the chemo.

Sorry for the rant there at the end..but yea, I'm for legalizing it, and against stuffing pills and other poisons down peoples throats.

Sirscrapalot - doesn't see all the fuss over such a helpful herb.

The history of medicine has pretty much gone like this:

    2000 B.C. - "Here, eat this root."
1000 A.D. - "The root is heathen, say this prayer."
1850 A.D. - "The prayer is superstition. Drink this potion."
1940 A.D. - "That potion is snake oil. Here, swallow this pill."
1985 A.D. - "The pill is ineffective. Here, take his antibiotic."
2000 A.D. - "The antibiotic doesn't work. Here, eat this root."

Several years ago I got a skin infection and went to the doctor to get it treated. He gave me a prescription for an ointment that cost $20.00 (this was in 1980). I put it on my skin and had an allergic reaction to it. So I went back to the doctor ( a physician's assistant maybe not a doctor) and he said -"oh, just go to the drug store and get some Tinactin". I did and it worked and it cost less than four bucks. I wondered then, as I do now, why didn't they give me the cheaper, non-prescription option first.

Later I worked in health care and I learned the answer. Armies of drug representatives invade our doctors offices and push their products on them. They bribe the staff with lunches and they leave all kinds of stuff around with the name of the drug on it - pens, pen holders, notepads etc. They offer "free" trainings for MDs that can count toward their re certification hours. They give the Docs free samples. It's kind of like the medical equivalent of lobbying. Many of these new drugs that they peddle are found to be problematic and some get pulled from the market. It's all about profit.

I watched the entire movie and I found it to be informative. I like to hear both sides of the argument and then form an opinion. I have for a while felt that something is fishy with the drug companies.

I was asking a family member recently "what progress have we made to cure cancer?" I feel like there should have been a break through by now, I thought. There was a 3 day 60 mile walk for cancer a couple of months ago in San Diego, ca. for the fight for cancer and there are marathons and other fundraiser to support a cure for cancer often. Year after year we have these events for cancer and I wonder what the money has been used on. Im sure treatment, research and other stuff but, I feel there is something fishy.

If you happen to pickup a Bible check out the passage about Daniel going to Egypt and refusing to eat the Pharoah's "feast". Basically he wanted only fruits and veggies. Personally I would have gone with the rack of lamb with a healthy dose of side fixins. But the point is that even 4000 years ago they knew the best way to eat. The more we "improve" the further backwards we go. Food, Inc. is a great documentary on this too
