I don't judge any one when it is personal, we are each responsible for our own actions.
I have been where you are, but, fortunately back in the day when if you assaulted some one with words like that, you better be prepared to back it up, then you would get a dusting up by the JP. You were responsible for your actions but he was responsible for his words, and in-sighting the fight.

Mabye not what u wanna hear but prison is not always the worst option.......Once you get to actual prison (If you have to go) there are many programs plus you can get medications you may need........Probably the two most enlightening years of my life I spent in prison.....Gave me plenty of time to heal myself physically and mentally.....Study everything you can, exercise and stay away from gangs

for you....best of luck
I have to agree with kbob's thoughts. I read the out come of your court date experience and have no doubt this creep was certain that he could cause what turned out. I have to beieve the amblance chaser he brought was there to ensure he didn't break the law while pushing you to break the law. I hope you can come out the the other end of this experience a better, happier man. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find the strength to endure it. Mike.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
I agree, that shouldn't have happened.
I've had some anger issues in the past, not unprovoked, but honestly being a 5' 1" woman limits the amount of havoc I can cause so that's what probably saved my butt.
My issues are along the same as Bear's, fought with them on and off for well over 20 years, I go out, but normally in a 15 mile radius. Tried meds, couseling, but nothing ever helped except sheer determination. I'll definately never be a social butterfly but I can get my groceries, and get stuff done, some days maybe not when I want to, but when I can, and I muddle through it.
Have dealt with depression/anxiety, etc. for yrs. Actually posted on this forum in the wee morning hrs myself! My anger is at mostly at myself and feeling I should be able to better overcome depression, etc. Sometimes I get angry that other people 'take' from my meager energy reserve. Depression, anxiety, lack of sleep sure deplete energy, then I become stingy, feel I need to horde whatever energy I muster!
Guess we all deal with our issues differently, they come out in various ways in our lives. One thing I am currently doing is finding trusted people (church), who I can call when I'm in the bout of anger or depression. In the heat of the moment is when I need to talk the most and is critical to not spiraling further. Sometimes talking just diverts my attn enough to stop the spiral and lets me respond to whatever triggers in a more productive manner.
As to meds, I'm a believer. It's humbling to admit they are needed, but worth it. Just my 2c.
Like others have said, this time of yr can be hard. The weather, lack of sunshine (Seasonal Affectiveness Disorder), I think is what it's called. Generally dreary weather has an affect on my depression as well. Having more to do and feeling pressure (internal mostly) is an energy zapper!
Just know you're not alone. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
