I remember when I sold a lot on ebay, sometimes I had the simular situation where my item would not fit in the priority boxes. The soultion is simple, make your own box, I always save large boxes for this purpose alone.
With some imagination, box cutter, tape and a 2X4 you can make a box to fit any need. Have done this many times and with great feedback for how my items were packaged.

So, I walk in, point to a priority box and can get one for FREE? Maybe that was the issue that time then..

PTS, you would not believe what I walked into at the local Post Office, I actually thought I had stepped back in to the middle ages, and would not exactly been surprised to have seen the Pony Express ride up.
I would believe anything in OK. You all do live in the middle ages. JK I love OK specialy the buffalo ranch outside Enid that sells the 1 pound buffalo burgers the size of plates.

Yes any box you can get online for free and shipped to you, you can get that same box at your local post office for free. The cost of the box is allready calculated into the cost of the postage.

Thanks to the mailman at my local post office, he straightened a few things out for me, so I will be better prepared next time around.

He and I believe that 1 or 2 of the FREE boxes would fit the laptops, but if nothing else, one of their "ready post" boxes he said is ideal for laptops. It only costs $2.99 so I can always add that into the cost when selling laptops.

All unions are not bad. Being in business yourself I garuntee you contracts are not bad. You cant run a business without a contract. Every sale by definition is a contract. When management wont follow a contract they signed that is breaking the contract. Anyone who knows me knows im far from a left wing tote the union line person. But I would have to say your wrong on this one shendog.

yes, i probably am. just a kneejerk reaction when i hear those terms in any form when dealing with the government. funny how jaded we have become, but honestly we need to figure something out when we have a gov run entity that loses billions of dollars a year. nothing against postal workers either, i think they do a great job. on a side note, what is your opinion on "equal opportunity" laws and how they affect the usps and its management?

    If they are too light
    Might NOT be cost effective
Box A ships at the 2 Pound rate >> Max weight 15 pounds
Box B ships at the 4 pound rate >> Max weight 20 pounds
Box C ships at the 17 pound rate >> Max weight 25 pounds

I have never seen any of these box's in a Post Office lobby
Order them online and they are delivered to you for FREE
