    Just takes a soldering iron to replace them. You can spot the bad ones because the tops will swell. And in the photo, you can see the negative lead is marked by a light colored band and minus signs printed on it. I 'fixed' my DLP TV several years ago for about $20. It worked fine for a while but then the screen started getting some wavy lines in the display and eventually went out again. Not sure if I did a poor job of soldering somewhere, or if something else was going on. We abandoned that TV so it is soon going to the scrap pile.
