A full bucket of copper is good.
An ever-growing bucket of gold trimmings is making me pretty happy, too.

Having someone say "I have a little bit of junk you can have if you get it out of my way," turn into two or more truckloads of heavy steel scrap.

Driving home from my weekly yard haul yesterday 700# of various metals lighter, and $214 heavier... Already pretty happy, but still looking like Lamont in the Sanford & Son's intro: looking all around as I drive (you know y'all do it, too!) Lo & behold I spy someone replacing 2 water heaters not a mile from the yard. I stop & ask them, and they're actually happy that I'd be so kind as to haul off the old ones. Only $25 bucks, but ya gotta love free money!

When the admin puts the kibosh on political conversations. That's not what I come here for, get plenty of it on facebook, but when someone spouts their opinion I can't keep my mouth shut!

Finding a big ole' pile of batteries.
When some one drops off stuff by my truck (been done more than a few times) and getting a over full truck so the yard here in town say sorry you have to go to the main yard, they maybe 13 miles away but they pay better and they unload the truck. The yard in town is 2 miles away and very easy to get to, but only take small loads (500 lbs or less)
