A text from my buddy telling me he left me something near his apartment complex dumpster, and going to pick it up and finding a whole big score of microwaves and other scrap next to it

    Wink

Old school window air conditioners, no plastic or styrofoam in these babies, you know the kind weigh about 300 pounds. Getting rarer and rarer to find, use to be plentiful at your local illegal roadside dump site.

Cars that have $50 worth of change under the back seat, thats way I always pull the back seat up on any car I scrap.

Finding tools in vehicles I buy and full tanks of gas fresh enough to use.

Loading the whole truck up when out on a run, go again a couple hours later and fill it up again.

This forum, its members, and the buyers we have here.

Like many here this forum has made it possible for me to have a small part time business that helped me recover from some medical problems. I can not express my thanks everyone who contributed as much as I feel. Ewaste was never in my interest until I started reading about it here and now it is more than half of what I do. Thanks to all, Mike.

Things that make me a happy scrapper...

Being able to break things for fun.

Getting that nice check or that handful of cash for breaking things.

    Being my own boss.

The ability to cuss myself out, fire myself, and still have a job. :P

The fine folks from SMF, your all like one big dysfunctional family. An I love you all the more for it. Normal is boring.

Sirscrapalot - I had something witty to put here but, finding out you all actually read my tag line threw me for a loop and I forgot it.
