Something you've never heard of:
This is Ayreon, an experimental band with guest singer Bruce ****inson from Iron Maiden. He is an amazing singer, Like you've never heard him before on this song.

Cradle Of Filth covering Iron Maiden's Hallowed be thy name: Blows the original out of the water in my opinion. That coming from a huge Maiden fan.

Nice. I enjoy all music, being a musician myself. I played drums in a SLAYER! cover band. By far, my favorite metal band. Metal drummers cant be beat!
And I played guitar in a country/ hillbilly/ punk band --chunkAdrit--:

PanterA, MetallicA, Black Label Society, Megadeth, Slayer, Ozzy/Sabbath, Slipknot, Children Of Bodom... If I need a bit of "quieter time" it's Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses, AC/DC

OK, so I got ahold of the Billboard Top 100 for every year from 1956-2013... Going through them and sorting the overwhelming junk from the good stuff, and came across this forgotten blast from the past. Takes me back to an interesting time in my life. Funny how we don't know at the time what profound changes we make to our life paths from what seem (at the time) to be small decisions...
Perhaps I should leave this blast in the past? Nah... I'm'a share it:

EDIT: Wow.... another.

I don't listen to anything (unless you count a nagging wife). When I smash my thumb or scrape my knuckles I want everyone in the neighborhood to know about it. They here me scream, come running to see what is wrong, find out I am a scrapper and bring me more stuff.
-
Music to scrap to.
I love this thread! For me it's Toadies, then Days of the New, and from there it just depends on what kind of mood I'm in. Could be anything from Hendrix to Fiona Apple to Jason Mraz to System of a Down to Christian rap (Andy Mineo and KB if you know the genre.) So how's that for an eclectic taste in music?

-
I listen to a lot of Trance and DJ podcasts. Though lately I have been listening to iHeart radio 24/7 comedy. I always love a good laugh.
-
One of the better investments in our shop was a one year subscription to Pandora. Without buying a good antenna, I could get any radio stations in and for 36$ a year you can't beat it. I listen to 90's grunge era rock (Foo Fighter Radio), heavy metal (Godsmack Radio) and rap gets played occasionally (Drake Radio).

Another legend I'll likely never see live sadly, but **** he gave me a lot of good times over the years with his music.
Enjoy retirement Smoothhand, this fan will always rock your songs till he's worm food.
Sirscrapalot - I just wonder where I was when the talent was being given out, like George Benson, Kenny Burrell, Eric Clapton... oh, there's many more! I wouldn't want to be like them, you understand, but I'd like to be equal, if you will. - BB King
-
I lied..one more. For those that love the blues, guitars, etc. Albert Collins, BB King, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck & Buddy Guy, you don't see talent like that any more doing gigs an such.
Enjoy.
