Glad your back Auminer - You started this thread, no doubt my favorite, so don't even think about abandoning us here at SMF. Music is always a necessity for me to have when I'm scraping. This thread has introduced me to some new tunes and I thank you for it. I like it all, right now i'm listing to Luke Bryan as I'm ready for a wild weekend!

I think I saw an Auminer...
I swear I did I did!
Sirscrapalot - Awaiting the new hijinks to ensue now that Auminer has rejoined the world.

Sirscrapalot - If music is the window to the soul, mine is all kinds of conflicted. - Me, unknown, same thing.

If you dig the blues, or just BB King..I give to you..
BB King and Friends - Night of Blistering Blues.
BB King, Gladys, SVR, Albert King, Chaka Khan, Billy Ocean, Etta James, an some guys named Phil Collins an Eric Clapton.
If you dig the blues...you'll be hard pressed to find a lineup like this ever again for one night.
Enjoy, or not. I know I will.

Sirscrapalot - I've said that playing the blues is like having to be black twice. Stevie Ray Vaughan missed on both counts, but I never noticed. - BB King

Serious guitar skill on display in several of these songs...I know I couldn't play like these cats. My arm would fall off after the first couple of notes. LOL.
Rock on!

One of the only albums that I can listen to cover to cover without wanting to skip anything. The other one would have to be ELO, but I can't find a video of their complete Greatest Hits album.

In the "BB King, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughn..." video it appears Albert King is playing a right hand guitar upside down with his name on the neck so you can read it. Look a the strings on the guitar. Am I mistaken?
My first album was Black Sabbath's Paranoid. I have purchase very few since for the reason stated matador. I can't see buying an entire album for one or two songs. Now with itunes and other services I can buy just the songs I want. Mike

This was my first full album:

I also had a Beach Boys cassette (Before we had a CD Player). I enjoy about 3/4 of that CD, but there are a few songs that don't do much for me. As for most disks, why pay $14.99 for three songs that I want? You can buy them on iTunes for $0.99 each, or have a quick listen and watch the music video on YouTube.

Driving a pickup truck in Wyoming- time for country! I do scrap to this sometimes, though.

I did hear this new song on the way home, though. It's done by Randy Bachman (of Bachman-Turner Overdrive). It's a nice tribute to The Who. I guess the new boss really is the same as the old boss....
