Amongst others. I tend to dig all kinds of music tho..Metal, Country, some Rap, hell I even like some Classical! Always interested in hearing what others listen to, even if it's not something my ear enjoys. Way more into Classic Rock then anything else tho.
Either way...share it! We've seen it all in this thread or a lot of it!
Sirscrapalot - Music..the universal language.
Well, I can tell you, I am not a country music guy, not into too much pop, and rap isn't my cup of tea either.
Last night while i was working (i didn't do much scrap, didn't get past sorting a box of computer cables... was too busy with my other side business) i was listening to a mixed playlist, Staind - Godsmack - Korn - Deftones - Beastie Boys - 3 Days Grace - and there is some softer stuff on there too, Gavin Degraw and some Aaron Lewis solo stuff. But you get the idea. After reading a lot of this thread i was having one of those "oh $hit, none of these guys would wanna be stuck in a truck for a few hours with me" moments. haha!!
Intellectual property has the shelf life of a banana - Bill Gates
LOL...Tame.
An no rap, yet..beastie boys? Might want to check their classification. All you've mentioned have been posted.
If you can deal with slayer, iron maiden, megadeath, etc...I'll ride in the truck with you. LOL
I dig it all.

Stevie Ray Vaughn or the Rat Pack depending on my mood. If I have to break a lot of stuff the Beastie Boys help.
ok, well, beastie boys are kinda rap... i'll narrow it down to... anything after... 1995 I can deal with most old rock too. just no Rush or Janis Joplin. Sorry. Not doubting the talent, but their voices kill me. AC/DC, Sabbath etc. are on my playlist too. Just not the one I was listening to last night.
When I get a few beers down, love me some Queen, Led Zep, Beatles, Rush, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Bloodhound Gang, oh, and Dwight Yoakam.
Not necessarily in that order.
Nothing will ever be cooler than a parakeet with a bangover! LOVE IT!
Out of clutter, find simplicity. --Albert Einstein
Heaven starts around 5:00... the script gets tossed at 6:30... all hell breaks loose at about 7:00. Great vid!

Another night an old goldminer spends sippin' whiskey & surfing youtube = another Blackberry Smoke video posted on SMF.
I have to thank you guys again, you are keeping me young and adding to my extensive music collection. My GF and I argue about my music (I listen to everything). She's much younger than me, her job is to keep me young (or kill me). Any way she likes R&B, Soul, and RAP (I like it too). I can only listen to so much Snoop Dog, Jay-Z, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, etc. Than it's time to mix it up, ("rock the cat box and burn the barn down"). I admit, I do play it all, anyone that tried to figure out my music taste (gave up). My dad was a professional drummer (country) and I one of the youngest "roadies" (Nashville, Austin, L.A.). My mom introduced me to Janis (then she went and OD). So music was part of me before (I was "ME"). Born in LA, Raised in Arkansas, Been half way around the world and now back in LA. I have drank $12 Heineken in the South of France and $.50 draft's at the "Red Rooster" in Oklahoma. Party time with a music "Heavy" or dogs on the grill with my neighbor, there's always the music we like talk. It's good to have it hear too!
So I'm going to play two for my SMF friends. Same title, but way different. Name of the song: Money (that's what I want). The two artist? Barrett Strong, this was written by Berry Gordy and Janie Bradford, yes that's Gordy of "Motown". The other version I will play for you, is from a band called "The Beatles" ever heard of them? If you were hear, I would open my bar, clean the pool table off, offer you a cold one and play some music. Starting with the other five versions of the same song: The Rolling Stones, The Doors, The Flying Lizards, The Sonics, and the Kingsmen (yes have them all). We would piss-off "my little brown eyed girl", she will get over it (always by noon the next day). We would be "PISSED BY MORNING" and you would hear music diversity at it's finest (trust me). Wish you were here (you guys), Pink Floyd can come too!
phred59 - Think you can hang with me and my music? If not we could always talk about the Razorbacks and Woooo! Pig Sooie all night - Come on over.
Even tho I have only been in arkansas for 8 years, I'd be good with that. And yeah I am sure I could hang with your music. I listen to a lot of stuff. Depends on what I'm doing. Actually used to listen to classical in the locker room before hockey games. then once i hit the ice i had death metal playing in my head so i can change gears pretty quick.
