I often don't like the music that others share here but I do like getting the opportunity to listen to it. Its a way for me to explore different performers. At 63 I started with Bobby Vinton and then the Motown sound of the sixties. Simon and Garfunkel, Carole King(Tapestry) Black Sabeth.
My problem at the time was the large cost of albums $12-16 and most only had one or two songs that I even liked. The exceptions are the ones I mentioned before, those I saved up my money for and paid the price. I could only play my music when both parents had left the house which didn't happen often. We had just the one stereo.
Today I have iheart and pandora on my phone and computer and I almost forgot Youtube. I am able to buy singles and whole albums for less than I did in the late sixties. I have to say I really enjoy the freedom of it.
Now I really prefer listening to female singers and my favorites are the groups Evanescence and Paramore.
So keep on sharing and I'll keep listening even if only for a little while. Mike

I just got the older version of the launchpad for a song...literally. Been messing with tables and 808's long enough, time to move into the future.

There ain't nothing wrong with an honest days work. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool.- Old Man
What did I do to you all, that you had to punish me with dubstep?
An Mike, I understand what you mean. It's a lot easier these days, an even cheaper if done right then it was in ages past to obtain music. Long gone are the days of dropping 12 to 20 bucks for album you only want a couple songs from. An I can totally relate on the music here. Some of it I dig, some of it I truly despise(Looking at you dubstep!)but all I appreciate it all.
Side note..I saw Joan Jett in concert back in..08 or 09. Was pretty cool, an of course I rocked out to all of her hits.
Keep posting the music, even if I dislike some of it, I still enjoy seeing and hearing what others like. This thread has led me to some pretty **** good music. More diamonds then coal.
Gotta add music if one is going to post in this thread..
Some Motown..
Oddly enough..I just love this song while riding around causing trouble in GTA V: Online. LOL
Some Marvin!
Seriously..it's Black Sabbath..I don't need to say anymore. OZZY! It's Ozzy people, so..don't blast it at work.
OMG! It's Ozzy an Black Sabbath. I could do this all day.

Happy Birthday to Frank Sinatra, 100 years old would be "blue eyes" if he was still making music!

Gravitar! Where ya been hiding man?
My play list has everything on it, from Sinatra, to Tupac and Slayer. Of the ones you listed....I don't listen to any of them but the occasional Kendrick if someone I know points it out and of course Eazy, he's a classic in the rap/hiphop game. I don't mind rap/hiphop, I just don't care for a lot of today's. Don't feel like I'm hating tho..I say the same with rock, country, etc. I'm old school I guess.
I'll give everything a try. Well almost anything...I still don't really care for Dubstep/Electronica/whatevertheycallitnowadays. I've tried I just can't do it though.
Some love for the rap/hiphop game...old school style.
end pt 1.
Sirscrapalot - These are the breaks... - Kurtis Blow

Sirscrapalot - Can get funky with the east or the west coast an all points in between.
