Gwar is well known for their shows for sure. lol. One of my old bosses would go to their shows when they came to the area. He'd come into work later that night(we did overnights) shirt covered in all kinds of crap. lol.

Drummer in a band similar to Slayer? Just the thought makes my wrists and arms hurt. Same with guitar players tho. The speed they use is freaking amazing. Reign of Blood makes me hurt just even think about trying to play it. Ha ha.

Gwar or the lead man of Gwar used to show up on Greg Gutfield's Red Eye tv show on Fox News(he no longer hosts the show) Very strange band and fit well with Gutfield. Gwar stayed in character the entire time and answered political questions. Funny show. Mike

When Lemmy covers your song its not your song anymore.

    The Central Scrutinizer

    Frank Zappa

    Produced By Frank Zappa

Album: Joe's Garage: Acts I, II & III (Disc 1)

    The Central Scrutinizer Lyrics

    Central Scrutinizer:

This is the CENTRAL SCRUTINIZER . . . it is my responsibility to enforce all the laws that haven't been passed yet. It is also my responsibility to alert each and every one of you to the potential consequences of various ordinary everyday activities you might be performing which could eventually lead to The Death Penalty (or affect your parent's credit rating). Our criminal institutions are full of little creeps like you who do wrong things . . . and many of them were driven to these crimes by a horrible force called MUSIC!

Our studies have shown that this horrible force is so dangerous to society at large that laws are being drawn up at this very moment to stop it forever! Cruel and inhuman punishments are being carefully described in tiny paragraphs so they won't conflict with the Constitution (which, itself, is being modified in order to accommodate THE FUTURE)

Did anyone ever find that song I mentioned years ago? "IM THE SCRAP MAN!
CANT STOP ME FROM DIGGING THROUGH YOUR TRASH CAN!
    BECAUSE IM THE SCRAAAAP MAAAAAN!"
best part was it came on while loaded a working curbed fridge I found next to a dumpster and sold for $100 that evening 😉

Todays choices...inspired by our own member and resident kiwi Eesakiwi. Every time I see his avatar it reminds me of both songs, which I enjoy. The rest is just cause I like Motorhead....so deal with it, or skip.

Didn't know they did covers of these....learn something new everyday.

Lat but not lest...an obviously not a cover...

To those who enjoy this kind of music...enjoy. Those who don't...there's some kids on your yard you need to go yell at....*

This version of "Enter Sandman" I had never heard before and I think I like even more than Metallica's. I meant to look further into Lemmy's music beyond "Ace of Spades". Thanks for sharing. Mike

Sympathy for the Devil now belongs to Motorhead as far as I'm concerned.

I dunno if I can say they own it, but I can say their at lest tied with the Stones. Either way...good listen far as I'm concerned, and we all win as we get two excellent versions. Glass, Mug, Can, Bottle..half-full outlook. Haha.

Hard to find good covers, when I do find them tho I enjoy the hell out of them.

Hellraiser actually isn't a cover Lemmy wrote it for Ozzy's No More Tears album along with Mamma I'm Coming Home, Desire and I Don't Want to Change the World.
