What can I say Sir except that I was listening to real bands like Pink Floyd and sipping on my sweet tea way back then.

We mid-westerners have a higher standard when it comes to music.

    Motorhead? Pshaw!!!!

I've never been a fan of cover bands and especially Pink Floyd cover bands but if you are a fan you should check out the band below.

MobyDi*k00001 on youtube. They're awesome especially Lilian Ximenes who does the vocals for A Great Gig In The Sky.

Of course everything above is just the opinion of a former southerner, relocated mid-westerner and soon to be yankee.

I just don't know how you've never herd of them before. Regardless of that perplexing thought, I've talked with my legal team an we will NOT be reinstating your prior status at this time till you return to your rightful ways. (If you have a sarcasm meter please turn it off as this post is riddled with it.)

Pink Floyd is a good band.

Classic rock in general is awesome.

I'll tell the south you said hello an have some real sweet tea for you.

Sirscrapalot - Someone has to give Jimi a hard time...might as well be me. I'm all for equality!

    Oh look...music...in a music thread! /shocknawe

An for the record...I'm not necessarily a fan of cover bands, I do like covers of other big songs by other big artists. Motorhead doing a version of Enter Sandman,or Sympathy for the Devil an pull it off just as good as the original band or better..I can dig it. Motorhead also did a cover of Stand by Me, or at lest Lemmy did. Like I said before tho...it's hard to find a really good cover, but when I do...I enjoy it. Cover bands are great when your at the bar, outdoor spot with music, etc. though.

An the final song for this post...

Sirscrapalot - Likes a LOT of different types of music

Well its been a long year since my father in law passes away, looks like the house will be sold in the next few weeks! Lots of work! I keep telling my father time to clean out the house, garage and sheds as I don't want to do this again for a long time...

One of my Father in laws songs he liked...

I usually pull up Pandora radio or the q101 app (chicago alternative for out of staters) and let it roll. But I'll pull up the occasional specific song. I find myself playing this one a lot. Catchy beat with some good lyrics. If we all had it easy, odds are we wouldn't be on this forum. (OK maybe we still would be. Once a scrapper, always a scrapper) But, without sounding sappy, it's a feel good keep on keeping on kind of song. There's my glint of emotion for the day. Time to get back to breaking down the 'puters. Lol.

Try this one Sir. If you don't like the music, I'm sure you'll like the name of the band.

My dad told me about this guy recently. I'm still trying to figure out what rhymes with bronco.

Removed Bloodhound Gang Version. No way to censor the lyrics across the video, an the first one involved M......F...an no way to get around it. I censored myself. Heh

    Nothing about roofs..

This song hated me on Guitar Hero/Rock Band..lol

More videos. Thank me being bored...or not.

No clue about this band, but...it caught my eye and ear while I was searching out more music.

Well this is certainly a different take on the song...An for those not familiar with 5FDP...it's nice an loud at points. Skip to about the 2:20 part if the opening isn't your cup of tea.
